Boy, is this one I’ve for sure learned to be true.
Our business can be exhausting. If you don’t intentionally take some time … any time … to replenish yourself you WILL burn out. Trust me, I know this one first hand.
Self-care doesn’t necessarily mean pedicures and massages (though it certainly can!). It also looks like turning your phone off at a certain time of night or for an hour in the middle of the day. It could mean getting up before the rest of your house to enjoy your coffee and quiet time (I’m all about that one).
It can also mean saying no to things that won’t fill you up.
What kind of “self-care” replenishes you the most?
