Karen Cooper is a wife, mom of three, licensed Virginia Real Estate Broker, entrepreneur, and Founder of Empowering Women in Real Estate®, a national community of more than 42,000 women in real estate. Through her podcast, annual conference, local Meet Ups, and leadership programs, she is passionate about creating opportunities for women to grow thriving businesses while building lives they genuinely love.

Karen is also the co-owner of the Platinum Group Real Estate Team at Real Brokerage. Licensed since 2002, she personally served more than 700 clients before transitioning out of day-to-day sales to focus on leadership, business growth, and helping other women redefine success on their own terms. Today, her all-women team spans more than 20 states and has generated over $1.8 billion in sales since 2015.

A bestselling author, speaker, investor, and business mentor, Karen is known for her honest, practical approach to helping women create businesses rooted in authenticity, creativity, and purpose.
