Monday Motivation & Group Rules Re-Cap
When I founded this group nearly 3 years ago it was with the intention of finding a common ground, a safe place to share thoughts, ideas, goals, and to seek advice, commonality, sometimes to even air frustrations with like-minded women in the real estate industry. Even though we work with people, our work can be very solitary, and having a group of women who have been there, who understand, is invaluable. The VERY BEST way for you to connect with us is by joining our group Empowering Women In Real Estate group on Facebook.
This group is NOT the place for selling of any kind, including:
-No posts about listings, price reductions, your services, loan programs, etc.
-No broker’s opens or open house posting. There are lots of groups for that, and those sorts of posts tend to “hide” the true content of this group, which is different from most any other.
-No posts of educational or training events held in person. We are approaching 4000 members here with women from all over the country. Posting local events is not useful for the majority of the group members.
-No promoting another page or group.
This IS your place to share ideas, seek advice (not legal or specific contractual, that’s what your broker is for), to motivate, be motivated and inspire. Other acceptable posts include:
-Training/events that are held online or via Facebook live therefore accessible to all group members.
-A hello/introductory post from a new member. A one time “hello, and this is who I am” is a great post. Periodically I will be starting threads as a “get to know you” for group members to comment so if you’ve been a member for a while and didn’t get to do an intro post, no worries, your opportunity is coming!
-Referral needs … looking for an agent in a certain state/county? Need a loan officer who speaks a particular language? Look here! We have a very diverse group of women from all over the country!
-Job postings, either salaried or team building. Be sure to clearly note your location.
This group has been such a tremendous blessing and value to me, and I hope has to you as well.
Each month look for our Monthly Meet Up … held on the same date and time in multiples cities, join us to discuss topics like prospecting, marketing, time management tips, and more.
As always … please help us grow! We are currently at 3634 members … can we get to 4000 before the month is over? Head over to Facebook and add your friends who are fellow women IN (agents, lenders, appraisers) or supporting (stagers, photographers, designers, etc) the real estate industry.
