The 6 Keys of Empowerment
A fun, interactive discussion based on my role in the book, “Managing to S.M.I.L.E.” Based on Rudyard Kipling’s poem from 1902, I use the Self-Management Model of Empowerment to introduce Six Serving Men and the Keys that hold that open the doors to Empowerment. They share four tools that provide clarity in all aspects of their job and increase productivity. Best of all, they determine if and when to ask for help and if they need someone to hold them accountable.
Identify all job-related tasks and objectively access one’s knowledge, skills, and attitude for each.
Discover which classroom (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior) one is assigned to.
Know if and when to ask for help and/or an accountability partner.

I’m a proud mom of two amazing young adults, Ashton and Jaxon, and have been married for more than 20 years to Todd, the most loyal and supportive partner. I began my sales career in the cellular and pharmaceutical industries but found my true calling in the new home industry, where I’ve thrived for over 25 years. My first sales office? A garage.
