Real Estate Life & Mom Life

Being in real estate is hard. The unpredictable hours. The unpredictable income. The challenging clients. The ever changing markets, technology, competition. The good for sure far outweighs the bad, but you need to keep your eye on the ball.

Being a Mom is hard. Whether you are with your children or not (and no matter their age), it doesn’t stop. The worry. The unpredictable moods (with toddlers AND teenagers). Every time you get into a good routine and think you have “figured out” a stage, your child moves into another one. They are constantly growing and changing, every level brings a new devil. But … the good for sure far outweighs the bad!

Now combine being in real estate and being a Mom … and in the middle of a pandemic and it can be enough to lose your mind! Trust me … I’ve been in business for 18 years now, have personally sold 700+ homes, lead my team of 35 incredible women and I have 3 school aged children … I know a little something about this first hand! I’ve lived (I’ll admit, sometimes barely) to tell the tale.

Over the years I’ve learned quite a few lessons that have worked, and quite a few that haven’t. Every mom in this business has too. You can hear some of my best advice on Empowering Women In Real Estate – The Podcast, episodes 4 and 21.
