LIFE IS AN ECHO

I had an interesting conversation with a friend recently about the law of attraction … particularly as it relates to money.

Have you ever noticed, often in our industry, often in this group, folks will post looking for a particular service provider … maybe a photographer or a stager … and then specify that they are looking for someone inexpensive or cheap?

And then when it comes to payment for our services there will be frustration when our clients ask us for a discount or when the co-op commission is less than expected.

My friend said something I thought was very interesting … when we devalue others, we devalue ourselves.

I’m certainly not suggesting that we over pay for products or services, but we can’t expect to beat someone else up for their fee, or choose our vendor based solely on the fee, and then be upset when the same thing happens to us. What you put out into the world comes back to you. I’ve seen it happen over and over and over again.
