It’s Monday, are you ready?
I’ll admit, Monday morning is one of my favorite times of the week, but it wasn’t always that way.
Once I learned to take some time for myself to refresh and recharge, it made all the difference in the world.
What that usually looks like for me is at some point Sunday afternoon … around the time I start looking at my watch and realizing the day is passing quickly and I still have so much to do … I force myself to stop, grab my favorite book and head to the porch.
Even just 20 minutes in this spot is enough for me to take a breath, I can often literally feel the stress and tension leaving my body. An hour is even better.
Then, come Monday morning I’m up (often before the alarm) and rip rearing to go. It’s one of my most productive times of the week.
