Generosity!

I have long understood the power of generosity.

The more you give, the more you will receive. Some call it the law of the harvest. I call it common sense.

There is a catch though. If you are giving only with the intention of receiving, it’s just not going to work. There is an unspoken energy that follows when you’re being generous to others. When that generosity comes with expectation, the energy flows differently.

Being generous is more than just giving money. You can be generous with your time, your energy, your love, and your kindness. All are equally, if not even more, valuable.

What you give out in slices will come back in loaves. I know this to be true.

Can I challenge you to be generous today? Give something to someone else. Maybe it’s money to someone who could use it, clothing, toys or household goods. Perhaps you will give your time to help someone in our industry who is newer or struggling who could use advice. You could give your ear and your energy to a friend or a colleague who just needs to vent.
